6. Conclusion
1. Texture & Absorption & Fragrance
This is a thick cream that applies smoothly and thinly without stickiness. It completely mattifies on dry or dehydrated combination skin, but it takes about 10 to 30 minutes.
As for the fragrance, it was very strong when I first used it, but from about halfway through the bottle, the fragrance is not strong and is subtle. For those who are sensitive to fragrances, I recommend using a spatula to scoop out the cream from the top before use.
2. How To Use
Take an appropriate amount in the morning and evening and apply it evenly over the entire face. After it is fully absorbed and becomes matte, apply sunscreen (EltaMD UV Clear SPF 46) or makeup for dry skin.
Tip – Personally, when I applied the Honeymoon Glow night AHA resurfacing night serum and Farmacy Honey Halo Ceramide Face Moisturizer Cream together in the evening, the absorption was much faster and my dry skin texture was much smoother the next day.
3. Is Farmacy Honey Halo Ceramide Face Moisturizer Cream Good For Skin?
In summary, this cream is recommended for those who want to hydrate dry and dehydrated skin, improve skin texture, and achieve a matte finish. However, for extremely dry skin, a richer cream is recommended.
Oily skin
When I used this product in the fall, oily skin, it took a long time to absorb. As time passed, the oil on my skin increased, making it feel very oily. So, after using it once or twice, I stopped using it.
Acne and Sensitive skin
In the cold winter, when my skin had some acne and dryness, I used this product with Dermalogica’s powder exfoliant in the morning and evening. Surprisingly, my acne reduced significantly, and the balance of oil and moisture in my skin was maintained all day, so I didn’t even need to do a separate moisture sheet pack. Amazingly, my skin became clean and the amount of sebum in some parts of my skin also reduced significantly.
And when my skin became sensitive due to the chilly weather, I used this product and felt it calming down.
Dry and Combination skin
In the cold winter, when the chilly wind blows a lot and when I’m indoors, my skin becomes dry overall or partially due to the heater. When I used this cream on my entire face in the morning and evening, my skin texture improved. Especially from morning to evening, even after doing makeup, my skin looked moisturized without any stickiness. I am satisfied with this product.
Tip – For dry and combination skin, if you want your makeup to stay moist and not wear off for a long time after applying makeup, I recommend using a hydrating makeup setting spray.

5. Pros and Cons
Farmacy
Size: 1.7 Fl Oz
Pros
- Ideal for dry and dehydration skin.
- Best for combination skin in chilly season
- Leaves skin feeling soft and supple.
- Absorbs well without a greasy residue.
- Noticeably improves skin hydration and texture.
- Soothing effect on irritated or sensitive skin.
Cons
- The thick consistency requires more absorb time
- May not be as effective in controlling oil for oily skin.
Solution To The Cons
- It’s important to apply an appropriate amount of this product. If you find it difficult to control the amount and want a product that absorbs a bit faster for dry skin, I recommend Etude House’s emulsion.
6. Conclusion
Farmacy Honey Halo Ceramide Face Moisturizer Cream is an effective skincare product that provides powerful hydration and supports the skin barrier for those experiencing dryness. It offers excellent skin texture improvement at an affordable price. I have been using this product and I feel my dry skin becoming plump.
The rich texture and smooth cream may not be suitable for oily skin, but it is the best product for dry and dehydrated skin to use in the morning and evening in cold environments.
