1. Formulation & Scent
This mineral sunscreen comes in a white, soft, lightweight lotion-like form. It applies smoothly to the skin and quickly absorbs (within 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the skin condition). After absorption, it naturally evens out the skin tone and provides long-lasting hydration.
The scent is subtle, with a hint of cosmetic fragrance, making it suitable for all ages and genders. Additionally, it leaves a natural glow on the face, enhancing the overall appearance of the skin.
2. How To Use
In summary, please apply this sunscreen gently to your face and neck 15 minutes before going outside. After cleansing your face thoroughly, apply your moisturizer or cream, and then apply an appropriate amount of sunscreen to your face and neck.
When removing sunscreen, thoroughly cleansing with all types of makeup removers (cleansing water, cleansing oil, and cleansing balm) and a foam cleanser helps maintain clean and healthy skin.
3. Ingredients (2024)
Active Ingredients: Octinoxate 7.5%, Zinc oxide 9.0%
key Ingredient:
- Zinc Oxide: A natural mineral that protects your skin by reflecting and scattering harmful UVA and UVB rays.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Soothes inflammation, reduces redness, and promotes healthier, more supple skin.
- Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid): Keeps your skin hydrated by attracting and retaining moisture.
- Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E): An antioxidant that fights free radicals, helping to prevent signs of aging.
4. Is it In good for skin?
In summary, this product helps maintain the optimal moisture balance for all skin types throughout the day and serves as an excellent sun defense. It can be used alone or under makeup (oily & dry).
Tip: If you use a moisturizer or cream that is too hydrating, applying this sunscreen on top may cause it to pill. Therefore, consider using a product with moderate hydration first, or apply the sunscreen after your skin has fully absorbed the moisture.
Oily & Acne-prone Skin
Before using this product in the summer, my skin was consistently oily with occasional breakouts. However, after using this product, my acne significantly improved. Additionally, it provides long-lasting hydration, keeping the skin’s moisture levels healthy. I found it works exceptionally well for combination and oily skin when paired with Innisfree’s Green Tea Emulsion. The sunscreen doesn’t pill off, and my skin looks fantastic.
On an extremely hot day, when I was outside walking for about 2 hours, this sunscreen easily wiped off with sweat when applied alone. However, on days when I wore makeup, including cushion , foundation, powder and setting spray, it didn’t budge.
Sensitive & Combination Skin
When the weather turned cooler in autumn, my skin became slightly part dry and sensitive. However, I found this sunscreen to be lightweight and non-irritating from morning to evening. It was a great choice for my skin.
When the weather turned cooler, and my skin was combination type, applying this sunscreen alone didn’t easily wipe off, and it stayed well from morning to evening.
Dry Skin
During the winter, when the cold wind was harsh and my face felt dry, I used this sunscreen along with Farmacy Honey Halo Ceramide Face Moisturizer Cream. The result was incredibly satisfying—my skin remained moisturized, and I didn’t feel any dryness.
After jogging outdoors without applying lotion and sunscreen in the very cold winter, when my cheeks turned red, I cleansed my face and applied this sunscreen again. I was pleasantly surprised to see how soothing it was for my skin, with no irritation and just the right level of hydration.
For those with extremely dry skin, I recommend using a rich cream on your face alongside this product.
