6. Conclusion
1. Texture & Scent
This cleanser is a mild, non-irritating cleanser with fine powder-like particles that are so smooth, it feels like flour, without any stimulation to the skin. Additionally, when it comes into contact with water, it easily creates a creamy and gentle foam. And it’s fragrance-free.
2. How To Use
Mix the Face Wash Powder with a small amount of water to create foam, then gently massage it onto the face. Rinse thoroughly afterward.
3. Is DHC Face Wash Powder Good For Skin?
In summary, I’ve used it during fall, winter, and spring, and it’s a suitable product for gentle cleansing without irritating the skin, suitable for morning and evening use. It doesn’t noticeably improve skin texture, but it’s a fragrance-free and reliable option for daily use.
Combonation & Acne skin
During late autumn when the chilly wind blows, I’ve been using this product as I was looking for an exfoliant due to my combination skin with occasional acne. I didn’t experience any tightness or dryness after using it morning and evening. While my acne didn’t noticeably decrease, I felt it gradually diminishing over time.
Dry Skin
As winter transitioned into spring, the chilly weather noticeably dried out my skin. Initially, during the winter when my skin felt excessively dry, I incorporated Senka Speedy Perfect Whip Moist Touch into my daily routine and found that using it 1-2 times a week helped with exfoliation.
When I feel dryness, I noticed that my skin texture improves and feels sufficiently hydrated after using a sheet mask following cleansing and patting my skin dry.
Then, as spring arrived and the weather remained cool, I continued to use it morning and evening daily, even when my skin still felt dry. I didn’t experience any sense of dryness, and my skin felt like it was maintaining its original condition.
Oily skin
When my skin becomes oily in the summer, I will update the review after using this product for more than two weeks.

5. Pros and Cons
DHC
Size: 1.7 oz
Pros
- Suitable for all skin types
- Hypoallergenic (mild and smooth) for daily use
- Effectively removes oil and impurities
- Leaves skin feeling clean without over-drying
- Cost-effective
- Travel-friendly due to the small size of the bottle
- Stands out with its powder form and exfoliating properties
- Provides a novel experience for those used to traditional cleansers
- Removes heavy and waterproof makeup effectively
Cons
- Requires getting used to the powder format
- Can be less convenient than liquid cleansers
- The process of mixing might not appeal to everyone
Solution To The Cons
- If the powder type is inconvenient to use, you can also purchase a liquid-type exfoliant.
- For powder form foam cleansers, the key is to dispense a small amount of powder onto the palm of your hand and then mix it with a small amount of water before applying. You’ll get used to this process easily within a couple of days.
- If you’re looking for a product that provides immediate smoothness and moisture to the skin, I recommend products from Dermalogica.
6. Conclusion
This is a gentle product that doesn’t irritate the skin and is suitable for daily use. It comes in a powder form that is soft, gentle, and completely non-irritating at a low price.
And not only the fine quality of the powder but also the hole from which the powder pours in the bottle is designed to make quantity adjustment easy. So, suddenly, a large amount doesn’t spill out. After using this product, I probably won’t be able to throw away this bottle. The design of other exfoliating products’ bottles is not made like this, so it’s inconvenient to use.
Additionally, since it has no fragrance, even people sensitive to scents can use it. If you’re looking for an inexpensive exfoliant that won’t irritate the skin, I recommend this product.
