Laura Mercier Rosegold is a subtle warm golden undertone, very light reddish brown color with a shimmer finish.

When I first applied Laura Mercier’s caviar stick eye color rosegold on my wrist, it gives glossy and metal-like texture.

And when it apply a fingertips or brush, the color becomes more natural with a shimmer finish.

Later a few hours, the double eyelid line can be removed over time. When used with eyeshadow primer (Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer) or Laura Mercier eyeshadow Rosegold, the color comes out well and lasts more than 12 hours and does not remove on the double eyelid line.

It layers easily over or under other eyeshadows, including powder, the more intense and buildable the color to give natural shimmer. This product looks moist, so you can do dewy, glow makeup.

And if you’re looking for a more brownish, shiny caviar stick, I recommend Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Copper. Rose gold is lighter than Copper.

Natural Eye Makeup Look

As a natural makeup, apply it as on eyelids, under eyes. Blend with brush or fingertips. The advantage is that the eye makeup finishes very quickly.

Especially when you use it under your eyes, your eyes look shiny as if you have tears in your eyes.

And if you apply it inner corner of eyes as a point, your eyes look bigger naturally. It also goes well with Laura Mercier Primrose, Guava.

Natural Brown Smokey Eye Makeup

I applied a medium dark brown shade (Laura Mercier Ganache) as a gradation and then applied it to the center of my eyelid and inner corner of my eyes.

Or, you can apply the darkest color (Laura Mercier Espresso bean) to the double eyelids and apply a brighter color to the center of the eyelid. Blend it with your fingertips to create a shimmery look.

If you want a more shiny look, you can apply a similar powder eyeshadow (Laura Mercier Rosegold) on top. If you use it like this, the moist feeling disappears, but you can complete a more shiny look.
