It has a blue watery and removes waterproof makeup. It’s okay when I remove eye makeup on my eyelids, but it’s quite a stimulating product when I remove eyeliner on the mucous membrane. I’ve tried removing eyeliner once a week for two months with it, but my eyes sting so much every time. There was no wound on the mucous membrane, but this makeup remover made so painful.

So I only use it to remove my lip makeup. There’s no irritation when remove my lip makeup. And because it has a strong aroma scent, it is not used for fixed makeup. The strong aroma scent disappears after the foam cleanser.

2. How to Use

Shake the bottle well before use and apply the product on a cotton pad. Place the cotton pad on your closed lips for a few seconds, and then gently wipe away the lip makeup. Repeat the process until your lip area is clean.

Like every product, Klorane Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover has its own set of pros and cons. Here’s what I found:

Gentle formula that doesn’t irritate the lip
Effectively removes waterproof lip and eye makeup
Doesn’t leave any residue

Cons:

It stings a lot when it goes into my eyes, so I have to wash it off with water
Slightly expensive compared to other makeup removers
May like or dislike about strong aroma scent
