Step 1: Prep Your Lips
As always, start by prepping dry lips. Moisturize with a lip mask or lip balm. Gently wipe your lips with a facial tissue after 10 mins.

Step 2: Apply Rich Magenta Lip Pencil
Take a rich magenta lip pencil (Nars – Damned) and apply it several times to your lips to create a rich color.

Step 3: Add a Glossy Topcoat
Take a slightly berry-tinted lip gloss(LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm Berry) and apply it over your magenta lip pencil. Start in the center of your lips and blend outwards with a lip with pointed cotton swab. This will create a gradient effect that tones down the magenta and adds a glossy finish.
Finally, apply again it with the same pointed cotton swab to your cupid’s bow and the center of your bottom lip to make them appear fuller.
Importantly, if you apply enough lip gloss amount several times to tone down, the color will become lighter and the lips will glow.
